Keder Awning
A stylish and robust awning that attaches to the side of a vehicle roof rack via a Keder rail.
The canopy comprises a trapezoidal fabric measuring 1.8m and 3m along the short and long edge respectively, and approximately 3m deep. A Keder rod is installed along the short edge of the fabric, and is inserted into the Keder rail to create the attachment to the vehicle. With 2 triangular panels attached to the sides of the awning. These can be extended and secured, or rolled up out of the way. Metal D-rings are stitched into the webbing to allow the triangle side panels to be rolled up, using the bungee-ball ties included in the package. Metal eyelets incorporated along the edges of the awning provide a convenient place to attach lanterns or festoon lighting, enhancing the relaxing ambience around your lounge space.
This set up includes the awning fabric with keder edge, 2m long plain aluminium Keder rail, 6 bungee-ball ties, 2 long reinforced poles with fixing points at 2.0m and 2.4m heights, 2 ratchet straps, 3 straps with cam buckles (2 long and 1 short), 9 carabiners, 2 spiral ground anchors (including turn bar for installing anchor) and 2 straight pegs. This awning is manufactured to order and estimated delivery time is 1 month from completion of order. This will be confirmed once order is placed.
Canopy manufactured from Rivertex® 600 SD; a fire retardant polyester fabric with a polyurethane coating for extra durability. It is treated to provide additional UV and mildew protection, as well as greater water repellent characteristics. Capable of withstanding a hydrostatic head of more than 500mm, this material is ideal for keeping you dry in the heaviest of rain. Fabric weight = 250g/m2.
FSC certified northern European soft wood poles reinforced with architectural alloy grade 6063 aluminium.
The guys are made using polypropylene core jute rope for great appearance and handling combined with excellent strength.
Ground anchors are 450mm long spiral ground anchors made from 10mm steel and powder coated for longevity.
Steel pegs are 450mm long 8mm galvanised steel.
